Hands-On Robotics and Coding Classes for Kids in Mumbai
Screen time turns into skill time. We ditch the lectures for messy, real-world robotics and coding projects where your child learns that failure is just the first step to building something that works.
We empower our students to not just build, but to understand and explain their creations. Here, a young innovator confidently demonstrates his obstacle-avoider robot, detailing how the Arduino board, IR sensors, and motors work together.
This is a typical classroom session in action. Students are deeply engaged in an Artificial Intelligence workshop, each working on their own laptop with personalized guidance from our instructors. The focus is on active participation and learning by doing.
Using the LEGO WeDo 2.0 kit, our young engineers learn the basics of mechanics and programming. In this video, students explain the components of their dumper truck and sensor-based car, including the smart hub which acts as the project's brain.
Our LEGO WeDo 2.0 courses are designed to make STEM concepts accessible and fun for younger kids. Here, they are exploring robotics and creative building in a small group, ensuring every child gets the attention they need to thrive.
Mentorship is at the heart of what we do. Our instructors provide one-on-one guidance, whether it's helping a young student with their first Arduino circuit or working with a group on a complex LEGO robotics project.
Rain or shine, the learning never stops. Even when schools are closed for heavy rains, our lab is buzzing with activity. Our dedicated students and instructors show that nothing can get in the way of building the future.
A rainy day is a perfect day for building. Here, our students are making the most of a day off from school by diving into a LEGO workshop, learning through play and collaborating on their creations.
About this collection
We keep our batches small, usually capped at 8 students, so your child gets actual guidance rather than just sitting in a crowded room. Whether they are debugging an Arduino circuit or programming a LEGO robot, they spend their session building, failing, and rebuilding—not just passively watching us explain the theory.
Building Grit, Not Just Code
At STEM ART LAB, we don't believe in participation trophies. We believe in the kind of learning that happens when a robot fails to move, a code throws an error, or a circuit refuses to power on. That is when the real education begins.
What We Cover
Our curriculum is designed to move kids from being consumers of technology to creators of it:
- LEGO Robotics: Using WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorms, kids master mechanics, gears, and logic-based programming.
- Arduino & Electronics: Older students dive into C++ based coding and interface with physical hardware, sensors, and actuators to build functional projects.
- Python & AI: We skip the boring syntax memorization. Kids write code that actually runs applications or solves logic problems.
Why It Works
Traditional classrooms often focus on theory. We focus on projects. Every session is designed around a deliverable—a working car, a functional app, or a prototype circuit. This keeps kids engaged and forces them to apply math and science concepts in a way that feels relevant. We are present across Mumbai, including Tardeo, Kandivali, and Andheri, and we also offer home visits for specific courses like Python if you prefer personalized coaching.
STEM Art Lab
We started STEM ART LAB because we believe the education system needs an upgrade, not another lecture hall. We are here to turn your restless kid into a creator, and we don't do participation trophies. If you want your child to build real confidence through grit and actual code, you have found the right place.
