Junior Squash Academy Program
Core Training Module
- Frequency: 12 sessions per month (3 days a week, 60 to 90 minutes per session).
- Group Dynamics: Small group training with a student to coach ratio of approx 6:1.
- Technical Fixes: Hands on adjustment of fundamentals like grip transition (hammer to shake hand), backswing mechanics, and follow through arcs.
Drills & Physicality
- Court Drills: Repetitive feeding drills including Boast & Drive and Cross court drops to build muscle memory.
- Fitness: Dedicated off court fitness including suicide sprints, burpees, and core strengthening (sit ups/planks).
- Ghosting: Shadow practice without the ball to improve footwork and court coverage.
Performance
- Match Simulation: Controlled sparring sessions to apply tactics like deception and opponent checking.
- Assessment: Informal tracking of rally capability and shot accuracy.
1-on-1 Private Coaching Session

- Dedicated Attention: 100% focus from a Senior Coach for the entire duration.
- Video Analysis: Real time recording of strokes to demonstrate and correct errors like incorrect point of impact or rigid wrists.
- Shot Mastery: Specific focus on winning shots like the Nick shot, Kill shot, and deceptive cross court drops.
Tactical Customization
- Strategy: Instruction on Rally Construction and moving the opponent to back corners to open up the front.
- Multi Ball Feeding: High intensity feeding drills to force rapid volleys and improve reaction time.
Amenities
- Court Access: Exclusive use of the squash court for the session duration (no sharing).
- Equipment: High quality double yellow dot balls provided during the session.
Pickleball & Padel Coaching Clinic
Game Introduction
- Format: Group session typically designed for 4 players per court.
- Rules & Scoring: Explanation of unique rules (e.g., the Kitchen rule in Pickleball, glass wall usage in Padel) and scoring systems.
- Equipment: Rental of paddles/rackets and balls included for the session duration.
Skill Development
- Basic Strokes: Instruction on the underhand serve, dinking (soft shots), and volleys.
- Rally Management: Learning how to sustain a rally and communicate with a doubles partner.
- Playtime: Guided match play where the coach corrects positioning in real time.
Facility
- Venue: Access to open air or rooftop hard courts.

I see sport as more than just a game. For me, it’s about grit, bouncing back after losing, and getting that rush when you finally nail a shot you’ve been sweating over for weeks. I want everyone, from kids to adults, to find their place on the court and get the real joy of improvement, not just ticking drills off a list.
What My Coaching Looks Like
- I personalize each session whether you’re new to the game or getting ready for tough tournaments.
- Squash coaching for beginners is a big focus. I’ll fix your grip (don’t worry, you won’t be smashing like a hammer), get your feet moving, and help you swing smooth.
- For those who’ve been playing a while, I’ll throw in advanced stuff - like killer nicks, strategy, and how to read what your opponent might do next.
- If you’re curious about the new stuff, my pickleball training sessions and padel sports classes are all about having fun, getting fit, and learning something different. These are great if you want something social and energetic, no matter your age.
More Than Just Drills
- Fitness is part of it (squash will leave you sweating, promise).
- I push mental toughness in racket sports - handling pressure, coming back from mistakes, and just sticking with it.
- You’ll get to play in junior squash tournaments and friendly matches, because real competition is the best teacher.

My Story
We started SportsXL because sport gave us everything – grit, joy, heartbreak. We saw kids with crazy talent but not enough chances, so we built courts from scratch. For us, it’s not just about squash or pickleball, it’s about community and dreams. Like Vasundhara said, 'mujhe bade ho ke India ke liye khelna hai' (I want to play for India someday). That fire is why we keep going.
