About Interior Plantscaping & Container Gardening
Why I Love Working with Indoor Plants
Every indoor or container garden I do is a little ecosystem. With my conservation background, I look for ways to help plants support each other, not just look pretty. This helps the plants stay healthier, need less watering, and just feel a bit wild, even if they're in the middle of a city flat or a busy office.
Where I Work My Magic
- Homes: Whether it's a tiny apartment balcony or a big atrium, I try to bring that apartment balcony jungle vibe. I like mixing plants of different heights and leaf patterns, so your space feels lush and alive. Sometimes, I’ll use things like urulis (brass water bowls) for a Kerala touch, or set up a green wall so you barely see the pots.
- Commercial Spaces: Cafes, restaurants, and especially those boring corporate corners - I love turning them into places people want to hang out in. My approach isn't to just line up plants, but to use indoor plant styling tricks so the greenery feels part of the space, not just an add-on.
Problem Spots? I’m Game
Tough corners actually push me to get creative. Low light, weird layouts, or places where flowers won’t grow - I pick sturdy, low-maintenance indoor plants and play with leaf colors and shapes. Sometimes, just mixing deep reds and bright greens can make even a gloomy basement feel cheerful.
What Matters Most to Me
This work is like meditation. I’m not here to just fill gaps with plants. I want to create something that feels alive, calming, and a bit unexpected every time you walk by.
