About Athletics & Endurance

We do not just run laps. Our training at the Eklavya Sports Complex integrates modern sports science with specific technical drills. Whether you are aiming for a sub-junior podium finish or preparing for your next full marathon, our coaches analyze your biomechanics to refine your form and help you stay injury-free.

High-Performance Athletics

Our athletics and endurance program at Somaiya Sports Academy is built on a foundation of discipline and measurable progress. We move beyond generic fitness to specific, skill-based training that helps athletes peak for district, state, and national tournaments.

Training Structure

  • For Juniors: Our U-7 to U-16 programs focus on movement fundamentals, sprint mechanics, and building a strong athletic base. We prioritize safety and technique to prevent injuries early on.
  • For Competitive Athletes: Training sessions are intense and structured. We utilize video analysis to correct your technique, whether it is in the long jump, high jump, or relay events.
  • For Marathoners: We provide endurance conditioning that covers aerobic capacity, strength training, and pacing strategies for road races and marathons.

Facilities at Eklavya Sports Complex

Athletes train on professional-grade tracks and grounds. Our facility includes dedicated weightlifting and functional training areas, ensuring you build the power needed to support your running performance. We also maintain strict batch sizes (1:15 to 1:20) to ensure every athlete receives attention from our NIS and Federation-certified coaches.
