Meet Ciya Pawa: Your Creative Guide in Gurgaon
I started Soaked in Canvas to share the therapeutic joy of creating. Whether you are holding a brush for the first time or returning to an old hobby, my workshops are about finding your flow, not perfection.
A little introduction to me, Ciya Pawa. I'm holding a palette, which is my favorite tool for bringing ideas to life. I'm so excited to share my passion for art with you.
In this video, I share a bit about my journey of starting Soaked in Canvas. It began as a childhood dream and has become a wonderful way to connect with people through creativity.
Answering some frequently asked questions! Here I explain what a "Sip & Paint" workshop is, why it's such a great way to de-stress, and how you can join us for an event.
About Meet Ciya, Your Art Guide
If you are worried about not having artistic talent, you are exactly who I want in my studio. My role is not to critique your lines or shading, but to help you find that creative flow where you stop overthinking. I walk every participant through the basics of brush handling and paint mixing, so you leave with a canvas you actually enjoy, regardless of your starting experience.
My journey with Soaked in Canvas began with a simple belief that art should be accessible, messy, and fun. I am a mom, not a fine arts professor, and my studio at M3M Urbana in Gurgaon is designed to be a sanctuary where we swap screens for brushes.
When you join my workshops, you are not signing up for an exam. We follow a 'sab chalta hai' (everything goes) philosophy. My sessions are structured so that you can relax, sip your drink, and actually laugh when your painting takes a slightly wonky turn. That is where the magic happens.
I offer a variety of creative escapes, from Sip and Paint evenings and canvas painting for beginners to guided tote bag sessions and pottery. If you are in Delhi NCR, I can also bring the setup to your office or home for private parties. My goal is simple: to help you de-stress and reconnect with your creative side, even if you think you have none. You get to take your masterpiece home, but more importantly, I hope you take home the memory of a slow, happy day.
Soaked in Canvas
I’m Ciya, a mom who traded routine for a life filled with colors and canvas. I run Soaked in Canvas to help people unwind, get a bit messy, and realize that art is therapy, not a skill test.
