About A Showcase of Our Crafts
Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or trying your hand at clay, I keep the steps simple so you can focus on the process instead of the outcome. You do not need to be a trained artist to walk away with a piece you truly love. I provide all the supplies, from aprons to paints, and guide you personally in small, relaxed groups at my Gurgaon studio or your chosen venue.
Art is often seen as a serious pursuit, but here, it is about the experience. My studio at M3M Urbana in Gurgaon is set up to be a quiet, comfortable space where you can leave the stress of the day at the door.
What we explore
We rotate our workshop focus to keep things fresh. You will find sessions on:
- Tote Bag Painting: A popular choice for those wanting functional art. You get a blank canvas bag and a variety of stencils and brushes to create a design you can actually use daily.
- Clay Modeling: This is tactile and grounding. We focus on small projects like fridge magnets or decorative figurines, which are great for fine motor skills and pure, messy fun.
- Canvas & Knife Painting: For when you want to play with textures. We guide you through color mixing and application techniques that make your work look professional without the years of practice.
Why it works for beginners
I intentionally keep the student-teacher ratio low. Because I work with small groups, I can check in with everyone, help you fix a stray line, or suggest a color combination that makes your work pop. My goal is to ensure you do not feel the pressure of performance. You just bring your enthusiasm, and I handle the rest, including the cleanup afterward. If you have a specific event in mind, I also travel to locations across Delhi NCR to bring these supplies and the 'sip and paint' vibe to your home or office.
Soaked in Canvas
I am Ciya, and I started Soaked in Canvas because I believe everyone has a creative spark that just needs a little encouragement. When I am not hosting workshops at my M3M Urbana studio, you will find me setting up pop-ups across Delhi NCR, making sure everyone gets a chance to relax and express themselves.
