My Personal Art and Texture Techniques
Art is my therapy, my escape, and my favorite way to experiment. Here is a look at my personal texture art and 3D painting projects that inspire the sessions I host at my studio.
In my own time, I love to explore different techniques like this texture art piece. Playing with thick paints and creating 3D effects is another form of creative escape for me.
About My Personal Art
I love working with texture art because it is far more forgiving than traditional brush painting. Using palette knives to build up thick layers of acrylic and modeling paste allows for a tactile, three-dimensional finish that you can feel under your hands. It is exactly this 'mistake-friendly' process that I bring to our studio sessions, where the goal is simply to enjoy the movement of the paint rather than chasing a perfect replica.
For me, art has never been about technical perfection. When I am working on my personal texture pieces, I am usually looking for a way to disconnect from the noise of the day. The rhythmic process of applying heavy body paints and sculpting florals with a knife is incredibly grounding.
Why I gravitate towards texture art
Unlike flat canvas painting, texture art lets you play with shadows and light in a tangible way. Whether it's adding gold leaf highlights or creating a relief effect with modeling paste, these techniques are what I often use to 'recharge' my own creative battery.
From my personal practice to your workshop
I get asked often if I teach these techniques. The answer is yes. Many of the styles you see in this gallery are adapted for my corporate and public workshops. We tone down the complexity so that even if you have never held a palette knife, you can walk away with a piece you are proud of.
Can you customize this?
Yes. If you have a specific vision for a piece of art or want to host a workshop focusing purely on texture or knife painting for your team or friends, reach out. We can discuss materials, session lengths, and how we can bring that specific vibe to your office or home in Delhi NCR. Whether it is a solo learning session or a group event, we provide all the supplies, aprons, and professional guidance to make it happen.
