I just love how this piece turned out. The process of creating it was so meditative, spreading the paste and carving the lines felt so calm and relaxing. The soft pastel colors add to the soothing vibe.

Here’s a look at the process, from making the perfect paste to creating dreamy, arched patterns and finally painting them. It’s amazing to watch a blank canvas transform into a piece of textured wall art.

For this project, the client wanted to see a sample with a specific color scheme. I created this small textured panel to test the shades of grey and black before starting on the final, larger artwork.

Here I am with a finished texture art piece. Sometimes a design needs a little something extra, so we added a touch of liquid gold to match the client's decor. Seeing it all come together is the best feeling.

My therapeutic texture art class is all about getting lost in the process. This video shows a student's beautiful blue, black, and white creation during one of our online sessions.

The process of creating texture is just so satisfying. Using a simple tool to carve these clean, curved lines into the soft paste is one of the most relaxing parts of the workshop.

After a super tiring day, this is how I relax. Just disconnecting from everything and focusing on the simple, repetitive motion of creating textures is my form of meditation.
