Messy, fun, and relaxing. I host hands-on texture art sessions where you create 3D canvas masterpieces using modeling paste, metallic finishes, and palette knives. No previous art background required.

Here's a little behind-the-scenes peek at one of my Texture Art workshops. You can see everyone getting hands-on, mixing materials, and creating their unique pieces in a beautiful outdoor setting. The final group shot shows all the amazing and diverse artwork.

The wonderful group of women from a recent Texture Art workshop, all holding their finished pieces. It was a day filled with creative energy, learning, and shared memories. Each canvas tells a different story.

Cheers to creativity! The participants enjoying a refreshing drink during a break in our Texture Art workshop. These sessions are as much about connecting with each other as they are about making art.

A participant proudly displays her finished texture art piece. She created a beautiful composition of circles with intricate line work, showcasing a wonderful sense of balance and color.

Another happy artist with her vibrant and bold texture painting. The interplay of bright yellow, orange, and deep blue creates a stunning abstract design. It was a joy to see her explore this medium.

This participant created a beautiful textured seascape with a setting sun. It's a perfect example of how you can use texture art techniques to create not just abstract designs but also evocative landscapes.

The pure joy of creation! This participant is beaming as she holds up her colorful abstract artwork. The bright, cheerful colors she chose perfectly reflect the happy vibe of the workshop.

This artist created a sophisticated and modern piece using a neutral color palette and distinct textures. It shows the incredible range of styles you can achieve in a texture art workshop.

About Texture Art Workshops

You don't need to be a professional artist to create a piece you will want to hang in your living room. My sessions focus on the tactile process, not on achieving technical perfection. We use palette knives and modeling paste to build layers on canvas, so it is more about how you move your hands and less about drawing skills. Think of it as a 3-hour art therapy session where you walk away with a custom 3D wall decor piece, and yes, coffee is on me.

Why Texture Art?

If you have been looking for a creative outlet that doesn't feel like a rigid classroom, this is it. Texture art is incredibly forgiving. Because we are working with heavy-bodied modeling paste rather than just paint on flat canvas, you have the freedom to be messy and experimental. We focus on depth, shadow, and dimension.

What happens in a session?

  • The Medium: We work with professional-grade texture white and modeling paste. This gives your canvas that distinct 3D look that you just can't get with standard acrylics.
  • The Tools: Forget the brushes. We use palette knives, combs, and scrapers. It feels more like sculpting or frosting a cake than traditional painting.
  • The Finish: Once the texture is set, we use metallic paints like gold, silver, and copper to catch the light. It adds a sophisticated, modern touch to the abstract composition.

Who is this for?

I design these sessions for everyone, from absolute beginners who are just looking to de-stress, to people who want a fun weekend activity with friends. It is a great way to step away from screens and connect with something real. Whether you want to make a statement piece for your home or just spend an afternoon playing with colors and layers, you will find your flow here. We keep the groups intimate so I can help everyone with their specific design ideas.

I am Shruti, and I believe art is the best way to slow down and listen to your heart. I host these workshops not to teach you the 'rules' of art, but to help you find a bit of peace and play on canvas. Come over, get your hands messy, and let's make something beautiful together.
