About this collection
People often worry that city shoots feel too public, but I prefer picking spots—like a quiet corner in a Pune wada or a hidden Mumbai alley—where we can just focus on the two of you. Since these are candid-focused, we don't do stiff, unnatural poses. You walk, laugh, and look at each other, and I find the perfect light to capture it all.
When I suggest an Old-World or city-themed shoot, I am not asking you to pose like a mannequin. I want the 'pyar hua chupke se' (love blooming quietly) kind of moments that make your album feel like you.
Why go for an Old-World vibe?
Whether it is the colonial-era architecture in South Mumbai or the vintage, rustic appeal of a traditional Pune home, these locations provide a rich, textured background that does not distract from your chemistry. It adds a layer of nostalgia to your photos, making them look timeless rather than just following a passing trend.
How we make it work:
- Outfit Choices: If we are going for a retro vibe, textures like linen, cotton, or simple sarees and suspenders work wonders. I am happy to chat about your wardrobe plans so we can match the mood of the location.
- Timing: For that soft, cinematic light, I prefer starting early morning when the streets are empty and the light is soft, or late afternoon for those moody, long shadows.
- Posing Guidance: If you feel shy or awkward, do not worry. My main job is to keep things relaxed. We will walk, talk, and grab coffee. You will barely notice the camera is there.
These shoots are more about the journey through the city than just a series of portraits. It is about creating a memory that feels like your favorite scene from a classic movie.
