These are not static poses against a wall. When we shoot in Mumbai, I look for the gaps in the crowd where the world feels like it belongs only to you. We work with the natural light filtering through heritage arches and the rhythmic pulse of the city, focusing on the way you naturally hold hands or share a look, turning a street corner into a scene from a classic film.
There is a specific kind of magic in the contrast between Mumbai's bustling energy and the stillness of a shared moment between two people. My approach to urban photography is to embrace this tension. I do not look for the perfectly manicured garden or the standard studio backdrop. Instead, I find beauty in the textures of old architecture, the dappled sunlight on Colaba backlanes, or the way the sea face looks just before the sun dips below the horizon.

How We Create This
- No Stiff Poses: My goal is to capture movement. We walk, we talk, and I photograph the pauses in between. This is where the real intimacy happens.
- Lighting: I prefer working with natural light, using the city's architecture to create natural shadows and highlights. For evening shoots, we use off-camera lighting to get that moody, film-noir feel.
