When we shoot in the city, the timing is everything. I prefer starting during the golden hour or early morning, not just for the soft light, but because the streets are quieter, giving us the space to capture those intimate, candid moments without a crowd watching. It turns a busy location into a private playground for just the two of you, allowing us to focus on the chemistry rather than the surroundings.
I treat these urban sessions like a fun date, not a photoshoot. We will not be spending time on stiff, posed shots that look like they belong in a catalog. Instead, we will walk, talk, grab a coffee, and explore hidden corners of Mumbai or Pune.
My approach relies on finding the calm within the chaos. We might use the strong, graphic lines of a historic building to frame a portrait, or find a quiet, leafy lane that feels worlds away from the traffic. If you have a favorite spot—a cafe where you had your first date, a park where you walk your dog, or a specific neighborhood street with character—let's go there.
Logistically, these shoots are meant to be stress-free. I usually suggest choosing two outfits: one casual, one slightly more dressed up, so we have variety without the hassle of changing too often. Because I focus on candid interaction, you do not need to worry about 'what to do with your hands' or 'how to look at the lens.' If you are comfortable, laughing, and being yourselves, the photos will follow naturally.
