I use a Wood's Lamp and dermoscopy to map the exact stability of your skin patches, which determines whether we proceed with medical management, phototherapy, or surgical options like cell transplantation. - NB-UVB Phototherapy: Using a medical-grade 311nm wavelength chamber to stimulate pigment cells.
- Excimer Laser: A targeted beam used for stubborn spots on the face or dorsal hands to spare healthy skin.
- Melanocyte Cell Transplantation: A four-hour surgical process where we harvest healthy cells and transplant them onto stable white patches. This is a significant step for patients who have not responded to other therapies.
