About Pro-Level Practice Features
When I build sand traps, I don't just dig a hole. I line them with heavy-duty weed mats to stop weeds from coming up through the white silica sand. You get a real bunker feel that stays clean, and I slope the base properly so rainwater drains away instead of pooling in your sand.
For a serious golfer, a flat green is rarely enough. To really improve your short game at home, you need variety.
Contoured Mini Golf Setups
I design these with actual slopes, breaks, and mounds to mimic real green conditions. Instead of a standard rectangle, I shape the putting surface to flow around your existing garden features like trees or fountains. This requires careful sub-base manipulation, where I use layers of aggregate and sand to create the undulations.
The Build Quality
- Surface Consistency: I use 15mm high-density artificial turf for the putting area to ensure consistent ball roll.
- The Rough: For chipping practice, I add a 45mm thick rough area that mimics the challenge of real course fringe.
- Drainage: In Delhi NCR, monsoon management is critical. I use heavy-duty base compaction so your slopes do not sink or get soggy.
- Installation: I use advanced seaming techniques to make sure the joints between the putting turf and the rough are invisible.
Whether you want a 3-hole or 5-hole setup, we can discuss the layout during a site visit. I install everything from the weed barrier at the bottom to the flagsticks at the top, leaving you with a setup that looks good and plays right.
