Golf Training at Siri Fort Driving Range
Whether you are holding a club for the first time or looking to refine your swing, come practice where the Delhi golf community meets.
This student is hitting a 56-degree wedge about 135 yards. We work on distance control with each club so you know exactly how far you can hit every iron in your bag.

About A Day at the Range
When we work on your swing at the range, I don't just tell you what to fix. I use my smartphone to record your stance and play back the footage immediately. Seeing yourself in action—spotting that 'halka sa knee flex' or a stiff shoulder—helps you understand the correction right there, rather than guessing what went wrong.
A day at the range is about building muscle memory that stays with you on the actual course. My sessions at Siri Fort are designed to be hands-on and straightforward. Whether you are coming in during a sunny morning or for an evening practice session under the floodlights, we focus on the fundamental building blocks of the game.
We start with the basics: your grip, stance, and posture. I often tell my students, 'back straight rakhna hai, par tight nahi.' It is about finding a natural, relaxed athletic position. If you are a beginner, we will spend time getting the 'V' grip right and ensuring your rotation comes from the core, not just your arms. For those working on their long game, we move to the driver, ensuring your hip rotation generates real power rather than forcing the swing.
I also place a strong emphasis on the short game. Putting and chipping are often where your score is made or broken. We can dedicate sessions specifically to these skills to ensure you have confidence around the green.
My coaching is flexible and tailored to you. Whether you are a total beginner, a lady golfer, or a left-handed player looking for specialized guidance, I am here to help. If you have a busy schedule, we can set up weekend slots or evening sessions to fit your routine. Golf should be a fun experience, and my goal is to make sure you walk away from every session having learned something new, with a 'good shot' to show for it.
Sonu Kumar
I am Sonu Kumar. I treat the Siri Fort driving range as my second home because this is where the magic happens. I don't believe in over-complicating things—we just hit shots, fix your posture, and get you comfortable with the game.
