This video captures the essence of my judging process. I am seen giving specific critiques on stage, highlighting both the strengths of a routine and the technical elements that need more work. My feedback is always intended to be a learning experience for the performers.
A key part of judging is communication, not just with the dancers but with the entire room. This clip shows me engaging with the audience, explaining my philosophy that true skill and hard work, or 'kaam', is what truly matters in a performance.
About On-Stage Judging & Feedback
Judging isn't just about handing out points. When you have me on the panel, I deliver live, on-mic feedback that explains the 'why' behind the score. Whether it's correcting a stance on a lift or highlighting a perfect transition, I make sure every dancer leaves the stage having learned something new.
My foundation comes from Shiamak Davar’s school of dance, and I bring that exact technical rigour to every competition I judge. I don't believe in silent scorecards. If a routine is tight, I want the audience to know exactly what made it work. If the choreography is great but the core strength is lacking, I say it right there on the mic. It turns a standard competition into a masterclass.

- Technical Evaluation: I focus on core strength, cleanliness of moves, and execution. I am looking for training, not just enthusiasm.
- The Naachgaana Vibe: Dead air between performances? Not on my watch. If I am booked for the combined judging and hosting package, I jump on stage for filler performances and audience interaction to keep the crowd hooked.
- Professional Setup: Whether it is a college fest, corporate show, or a dance reality contest, I work closely with your production team to ensure the audio and flow are seamless.
