Judging Rooted in Shiamak Davar's Technique

When you bring me on board for an event, you are getting someone who treats every performance with the respect I was taught by Shiamak Davar. My judging is rooted in the discipline of his foundation. This means I prioritize clean lines, core strength, and technical accuracy above everything else.

I understand the intensity of being on stage. That is why my feedback is designed to build, not break. I will tell you where you nailed the transition and exactly where your base needs to be stronger to pull off a move.

What I focus on:

• Technique: Solid basics are non-negotiable. Whether it is contemporary, jazz, or Bollywood, the foundation must be clean.
• Choreography: I evaluate the structure—does the routine have a story, or is it just a series of steps?
• Execution: Are you just going through the motions, or are you dancing with purpose?

Masti (fun) is important, but only when it sits on a foundation of hard work. Whether you are hosting a college fest, a corporate dance-off, or a school competition in Delhi, I bring that same rigour. My goal is for every dancer to walk off that stage having learned something new about their craft, not just having performed for a few minutes.
