It was an honour to be on the judging panel for MERAKI’24. When I'm in the judge's seat, I'm looking for that raw energy and asli flavour that makes a performance unforgettable.
This is me in my element during a showcase at CAMP BIG DANCE. For me, judging comes from a place of experience, and I look for dancers who connect with the beat and tell a story with every move.
Bringing my own flavour to a high-energy Bollywood track. My experience covers multiple genres, so as a judge I can appreciate everything from sharp commercial choreography to freestyle flow.

When I am in the judge’s chair, I look for that raw, asli flavour that separates a performance from just a standard routine. I do not believe in rigid, old-school criteria because dance evolves daily, and I stay connected to that growth by training with international artists myself. You are not getting a paper-pusher but someone who understands the hustle, the musicality, and the technical grind that dancers put into their craft.
Judging is about constructive growth. Whether it is a college fest or a community dance battle, I focus on specific metrics, including clean footwork, stage presence, and how well the dancers connect with the beat. I have spent years training in styles ranging from Afro and Hip Hop to Bollywood, which gives me the versatility to evaluate across different genres fairly.
When you bring me on board for your event, you get more than just a scorecard. I engage with the crowd during technical breaks to keep the energy high and provide verbal, actionable feedback on the mic that helps the performers understand exactly where they can level up.

I handle everything from scoring sheets to tie-breaking decisions for battles.
