Grand Wedding Entrances and Floral Walkways
Your entrance is the first thing guests see. Whether it is a traditional marigold gate or a modern floral tunnel, I design entryways that welcome your guests with warmth and color.
This is a unique floral entrance I designed, featuring a peacock sculpture made of white flowers. The body of the peacock flows into a cascade of red and white flowers, creating a dramatic and artistic welcome for guests next to a matching floral archway.
I created this personalized welcome area for an outdoor evening wedding. The entrance features a dense floral arch of pink and white roses, complemented by a custom sign with the couple's initials in marquee lights for a modern and inviting touch.
For this elegant venue, I designed a subtle yet beautiful floral entrance. The decor includes white and yellow flowers on the balcony and a draped archway, which complements the building's classic architecture.
This video shows a long entrance walkway I decorated for an outdoor wedding. The path is lined with a red carpet and features floral arches made of pastel-colored roses, leading guests towards the main event area under a colorful draped ceiling.
This video shows the entrance and interior setup for a Mehndi function. The walkway is decorated with yellow marigold garlands, leading to a welcome sign and an indoor space with unique cone-shaped floral structures.
About Grand Entrances & Walkways
When planning your entrance, consider the venue's entry path and crowd flow. If you are choosing an outdoor archway, I ensure the structure is sturdy enough to handle the wind while using fresh, high-volume blooms like roses or marigolds to keep it looking lush until the last guest arrives. I also handle the carpeting and lighting setup, so you do not need to coordinate with separate vendors.
Your wedding entrance needs to reflect the theme of the entire event. For traditional functions like Haldi or Mehndi, I often recommend dense marigold torans and vibrant yellow or orange drapes. These are not only culturally auspicious but also hold up well in outdoor heat.
For reception or sangeet entrances, we can shift to a modern aesthetic. I frequently use red and white rose arches, or even complex floral sculptures like the peacock designs you see in my gallery. If you are hosting an evening function, I integrate warm par-can lighting into the floral arch to ensure your welcome area stands out in guest photographs.
Practical advice: Always consider the width of the entrance. I typically design 10 to 20 foot wide entryways for large gatherings to prevent bottlenecks. If you are having a destination wedding in a resort or a garden venue, I can also install floral-pasted pillars or tunnel walkways that guide your guests from the gate directly into the main event space. Whether you need a simple signage stand with a floral border or a grand, tunnel-style arrival, I build it to fit the scale of your venue.
