Traditional Marigold Mandap Setup
Core Structure & Mandap
- Vidhi Mandap: A 10x10 ft traditional 4-pillar structure fully wrapped in dense Orange and Yellow Marigold garlands (Genda Laddis).
- Mandap Ceiling: Radial or grid pattern ceiling design created using Tuberose (Rajnigandha) strings and Marigold drops.
- Seating: 2 traditional Bajot/Patla (low seating) or standard chairs for the couple, covered in basic fabric.
- Backdrop: Fabric drapes (Red/Gold/Yellow) with hanging floral strings to cover the rear of the stage.
Entrance & Walkway
- Welcome Arch: A standard rectangular or arch-shaped entrance gate decorated with mixed Marigold and Mango leaves (Toran style).
- Signage: Basic easel stand with a welcome board adorned with a marigold border.
- Aisle: Loose rose petal sprinkling on the path leading to the Mandap.

- Lighting: 4-6 Par-can lights to illuminate the Mandap area (warm white/yellow light).

- Reception stage flowers set the mood for your main event. I create backdrops with gold, white, or rich reds, and floral arches that look grand in photos.
- Floral entrance arch and aisle decor make sure your guests feel wow from the first step. Pink-white rose arches, custom welcome areas, and carpeted walkways - all done with care.
- Mehndi flower decor, sangeet, and small home functions - I handle it all. Simple table arrangements or full-on themed setups, just tell me your vibe.

Namaskar, I’m Shyam Tukaram Ingavale - flowers have been my world since 1990. Thirty years, just me and blossoms, from small poojas to grand shaadis (weddings). I’ve travelled, set up mandaps in faraway places, but even a simple home function makes me happy. For me, every setup is a prayer, every flower a blessing.
