Film and Television Acting Roles
Acting is where I bring my dance background to life. Whether it is a feature film or a short video project, I love exploring new characters and emotions on screen.
A shot from the theatre screen of my character Bhama in 'Dange/Por'. Seeing your work on the big screen is always a surreal feeling, especially a scene that combines my love for both dance and acting.
Another on-screen moment from 'Dange/Por'. This was a pivotal scene for my character, capturing a moment of realization and conflict.
In character as Bhama, a doctor, on the set of 'Dange/Por'. The role required a lot of internal shifts, and this is a candid shot between takes, staying in that focused headspace.
A behind the scenes look from the monitor on the set of 'Dange/Por'. It's fascinating to see how the scene is being framed and captured in real-time by the director of photography.
Another view from the camera monitor during the filming of 'Dange/Por'. This perspective shows the technical side of filmmaking that audiences don't always get to see.
This is a close-up of my character from 'Dange/Por' as seen on the big screen. It captures a moment of vulnerability and concern, which was central to her journey.
A vibrant still from 'Dange/Por' where my character performs Bharatanatyam. It was amazing to merge my two passions, dance and acting, in a single project.
A wide shot from the movie 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'. Even being a small part of such a grand frame, surrounded by so many talented actors, was an incredible learning experience.
Another angle from my scene in 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'. The set design, costumes, and sheer number of artists involved created an atmosphere that felt truly historical.

About My Film & Television Work
For my character Bhama in the film Dange, I had to balance playing a doctor with the physical requirements of a dancer. It meant maintaining strict continuity across takes while switching between intense emotional states. If you need a lead who understands movement and can handle long shifts on set, let's talk.
My Approach to Acting
Acting is way more than just memorizing lines. I lean heavily on my Bharatanatyam background to bring depth to my characters. The Navarasa techniques I learned in dance help me express complex emotions, like fear, joy, or quiet resolve, with precision on camera.
Life on Set
Whether it is a 12-hour shift for a feature film or a two-day music video shoot, I know the drill. My classical training makes me disciplined about posture, hand gestures, and maintaining consistency across multiple takes. I thrive in collaborative environments where the scene is a team effort.
What I Offer
- Continuity: I am trained to handle physical continuity management, reducing retake time for the crew.
- Range: I comfortably perform in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.
- Logistics: I am based in Bengaluru and travel across India for projects. Please note that for outstation shoots, travel and accommodation are required.
Acting is not all glamour, but it is deeply rewarding. I am always looking to find the truth in a character, even when the hours are long or the emotions are tough to crack open.
