I believe art thrives on dialogue. My collaborative projects blend Bharatanatyam with poetry, music, and diverse perspectives, creating performances that feel fresh, meaningful, and deeply rooted in tradition.

The poster for "Adi Ashtakam," a unique Bharatanatyam presentation based on the compositions of Adi Shankaracharya. I was thrilled to be part of this production in Delhi, conceptualized by Usha RK.

Announcing our performance of "Adi Ashtakam" at the prestigious Krishna Gana Sabha's Pongal Dance Festival in Chennai. I had the honor of presenting the 'Sarada Bhujanga Ashtakam' in this show.

An invitation to "Vanita in Arts," a production celebrating exemplary women of Bharat, curated by Smt. Usha RK. I had the privilege of presenting the goddess Saraswati as part of this show in Chennai.

An announcement for a unique performance bringing the poems of Sarojini Naidu to life through Bharatanatyam. This collaboration with Suranya Aiyar and violinist Sridhar was a beautiful fusion of poetry and dance.

On stage with Suranya Aiyar during our performance interpreting the poems of Sarojini Naidu. Her recitation provided the perfect emotional landscape for my dance.

A moment of expressive abhinaya from our Sarojini Naidu production. The goal was to translate the poet's words into the visual language of Bharatanatyam.

A fun, candid shot with the talented dancer Adithya PV during our "Divya Vivaaham" performance in Delhi. Collaborating with fellow artists is always an enriching experience.

A moment of grace from "Divya Vivaaham," a production celebrating celestial weddings. Dancing with Adithya PV, we brought the stories of gods and goddesses to the stage.

A glimpse of "Saadhana," a festival I curated under my academy's banner to showcase talented young dancers from India and abroad, including artists from Reunion Island, France.

The graceful Yashvardha Kumar presenting Odissi at our "Saadhana" festival. It is important to create platforms that celebrate various forms of Indian classical dance.

About Collaborative Works & Special Projects

I often curate my productions, such as 'Adi Ashtakam' or our interpretation of Sarojini Naidu’s poetry, to bridge the gap between classical complexity and modern audience sensibilities. Whether I am performing with fellow dancers or integrating live recitation, my goal is to ensure the narrative is accessible. I typically provide verbal introductions in English and Hindi to deconstruct mythologies, so that everyone in the audience, regardless of their prior familiarity with classical dance, feels connected to the story on stage.
