On-Location Fashion & Editorial Modeling
Whether it is the misty forests of Nandi Hills or the historic bylanes of Bengaluru, a location is never just a background—it is a character. I love finding that sweet spot where the environment and the outfit tell the same story.
A short reel from my Bengaluru street series. The vintage car and the city's unique atmosphere create a beautiful, nostalgic backdrop that I love to work with for lifestyle and fashion shoots.
Wandering through a misty forest at Nandi Hills. This video shows how I interact with natural environments to create cinematic and moody visuals, perfect for brands with an earthy or ethereal aesthetic.
Posing against a charming, colorful doorway in French Pondicherry. I am available for travel and have experience shooting in various cities to match a brand's specific creative vision.
A shot from a quick trip to Colombo, Sri Lanka. This shows my ability to adapt to new locations and create beautiful content, even on a tight schedule.
A portrait taken in the narrow, atmospheric bylanes of a traditional market. This demonstrates my comfort with shooting in authentic, crowded urban settings to capture a slice-of-life feel.
A serene portrait at a heritage temple site. The historical architecture provides a powerful and authentic backdrop for modeling traditional wear and jewelry.
A quiet moment by the sea during sunset. Beach locations offer beautiful natural light and a relaxed atmosphere for lifestyle, wellness, and resort wear campaigns.
For me, modeling is about becoming part of a scene and telling its story. This moody, atmospheric shot from a monsoon series in Bengaluru captures the exact kind of emotion I love to create, blending the elegance of a saree with the raw beauty of nature.
About On-Location Shoots
Working on-location is about adaptability. If you are planning an outdoor shoot with me, keep in mind that I am comfortable with everything from early morning mist to unpredictable weather, provided we have a solid creative vision. I do not just stand there; I use my abhinaya training to interact with the space, making the location a natural extension of the clothing's narrative.
Bringing a location to life
When I choose a location, I look for textures and light that complement the garment. A handwoven silk saree behaves differently in the soft, diffused light of a forest than it does against a harsh, sun-drenched urban wall. My background in Bharatanatyam taught me to be aware of my space, which translates directly into how I move and pose on-location.
What I bring to the set
I am not a fan of static, one-dimensional poses. Whether we are shooting in a heritage site or a street market, I focus on capturing the energy of the place. If you have a concept that requires specific character work—like a royal aesthetic for temple jewelry or an earthy vibe for a sustainable brand—I adapt my body language to fit that narrative.
Practical details
- Environment: I am at home in everything from rain-soaked forests to busy city corners.
- Travel: I am based in Bengaluru but travel across India for shoots.
- Process: We discuss the mood and story before we arrive. This saves time on set and helps us get the right shots quickly.
If you have a location in mind that fits your brand’s vision, let’s talk about how we can make it work.
