I don't just shoot temples; I chase the feeling of devotion. From the silent power of ancient stone to the roaring energy of a festival, this is how I document the pulse of India.

Nature is God, God is Nature. A personal reflection on finding divinity not just in temples, but in the silence of the forests and the vastness of the sky.

My first Ganesh Visarjan in Mumbai. This video captures the incredible energy, devotion, and organized chaos of the festival, an experience I'll never forget.

A journey to the Kundalpur Jain Temple in Madhya Pradesh, set to be the largest Jain temple in the country. Its stunning architecture reflects the deep roots of Jain culture.

The magnificent statue of Bade Baba at Kundalpur. This is where my journey began, and his blessings are what I carry with me everywhere.

The 18-foot tall Shiva Linga at Bhojpur Temple, carved from a single stone. Devotees gather to offer their prayers at this ancient and powerful site.

An aerial view of the unfinished Bhojpur Temple against a dramatic, cloudy sky. The temple stands as a testament to the faith and ambition of Raja Bhoj.

Devotees with saffron flags throng the entrance of the Bhojpur Shiva Temple, a powerful display of faith at this historic site.

A wider aerial shot of Bhojpur Temple, showing its location amidst a lush green landscape and the crowds gathered for worship.

Another stunning aerial perspective of the Bhojpur Temple, highlighting its unique, open-roof structure and the long lines of faithful visitors.

My first time witnessing the Jagannath Rath Yatra in Puri. This video captures the overwhelming feeling of being amidst thousands of devotees, where the air is filled with faith.

About Sacred India: A Journey of Faith

Capturing faith requires more than high-end gear. It demands patience and being in the right spot when the crowd moves. Whether I am using my drone for an aerial view of a temple chariot or staying low-profile with my Sony to catch an intimate moment of prayer, my focus is always on the story, not just the architecture.

My Approach to Spiritual Storytelling

Photography is my way of understanding the divine. When I shoot sacred spaces—like the massive Shiva Linga at Bhojpur or the quiet grandeur of Kundalpur—I am looking for the atmosphere, not just the structure. I try to capture what it feels like to be there: the heavy air, the scent of incense, and the silence that exists even in a crowded temple.

The Gear and The Vision

I rely on my Sony ZV-E1 for its low-light performance and color depth, which is crucial when shooting in dimly lit interiors or at golden hour. For festivals like the Jagannath Rath Yatra, I add a DJI drone to the mix. It provides an aerial perspective that helps the viewer understand the scale of the devotion. Seeing the crowd from above changes the narrative from 'chaos' to 'unity'.

Why This Matters

My work is about documentation. I want to show the vibrant traditions of India in a way that respects their history. Whether I am editing a 15-second reel of a Ganesh Visarjan or a longer documentary piece on a pilgrimage site, my goal is to make the viewer feel the heat, the sound, and the emotion of the moment. If you have a project that needs a deep, cinematic touch—whether it is a destination showcase or a personal pilgrimage documentation—let's create something real.
