I capture the intersection of faith and movement. From the silence of the Ganga at dawn to the energetic chaos of temple festivals, I turn sacred moments into cinematic stories.

They said no drones, so I waded into the ocean to capture the Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai. This film is about devotion, showing the lengths I will go to capture the raw emotion of a sacred moment.

A cinematic journey through Banaras, set to the timeless Gayatri Mantra. This film is my tribute to the city's eternal soul, capturing its spiritual energy from the ghats to the temples.

A lone devotee performs 'surya namaskar' in the holy Ganga at dawn, with the ancient city of Varanasi glowing in the background. This single frame captures the essence of faith and timelessness.

This is the same powerful moment of devotion in Varanasi, captured from a slightly different angle. The deep blue of the water contrasts with the warm, illuminated city, creating a spiritually charged image.

A moving postcard from Banaras, showing the gentle, sparkling ripples of the Ganga river. This close-up, meditative shot is part of a larger film capturing the city's many moods.

An aerial night view of the Ganga Aarti in Banaras. This clip, part of a larger series, shows the thousands of lamps and boats creating a city of light on the water.

A devotee emerges from the Ganga, with the city lights of Varanasi creating a beautiful bokeh effect in the background. This shot focuses on the personal, intimate side of faith.

A portrait of an Aghori sadhu on the ghats of Banaras. This shot is about capturing the intensity and mystery of the many faces of spirituality you encounter in this ancient city.

Inspired by the upcoming Ramayana movie, I created this cinematic tribute to Kashi. The powerful audio combined with my visuals of the city's spiritual life creates a truly epic feel.

The narrow, ancient alleyways of Varanasi, painted in vibrant red. A lone figure in white stands on the steps, creating a powerful contrast and a sense of timelessness.

About Sacred India: Temples, Ghats & Festivals

When I shoot festivals or sacred sites, I never rely on luck alone. I spend time scouting the exact spot for the sunrise or sunset golden hour. It makes the difference between a flat photo and a shot that feels like it belongs in a film. If you have a specific ritual or location in mind, let's talk about when the light will actually be on our side.

My approach to documenting India's spiritual landscapes is simple: I treat every ghat, temple, and festival as a living, breathing story. I don't just take pictures. I look for the emotion in the chaos. Whether I am capturing the evening Aarti in Varanasi or the intensity of a Ganpati Visarjan in Mumbai, I use my Sony ZV-E1 to catch the drama and my DJI Mini 3 Pro to show the sheer scale of these celebrations.

My Process

  • Golden Hour Focus: I plan my shoots around the sun. The soft light of the morning or the deep warmth of the evening is essential for the rich, cinematic tones I deliver.
  • Cinematic Motion: I don't just shoot stills. I integrate drone shots and slow-motion video to make sure the final project feels immersive, like you are actually standing there on the ghats.
  • Cultural Respect: Capturing sacred moments requires patience and silence. I know how to be a fly on the wall, getting the shot without disrupting the sanctity of the ritual.

Why Work With Me?

I didn't learn this in a classroom. I learned it wandering the lanes of Delhi and the banks of the Kashi. I understand the cultural nuance of Indian festivals, which means I know exactly when the peak emotion is coming—and I am always ready for it. If you want a visual tribute that goes beyond a standard documentary style, let's collaborate.

I’m Bean. I don’t believe in degree-based photography—I believe in the ghats of Varanasi and the chaos of the streets. My camera is my way of connecting with something bigger, and if you want your sacred moments caught with raw, unfiltered emotion, I’m the one you need.
