Why Soil Prep Matters

Many people think you just roll out the grass and you are done. In reality, the ground must be cleared of debris and leveled correctly. If the soil is uneven, you will get water-logging in some spots and dry patches in others. We add organic vermicompost to the base to give the roots a nutrient-rich foundation to establish themselves quickly.

Choosing Your Grass

Not every grass variety is right for every home.

• Korean Grass: If you want a soft, ornamental lawn that looks like a carpet, this is usually the best choice. It is fine-textured and perfect for areas where you walk barefoot.
• Bermuda Grass: If your lawn is going to see heavy foot traffic, like a play area for kids or a space for pets, Bermuda is the tougher, more resilient option.
• Mexican Grass: This is a great middle-ground—it is dense, looks very green, and is relatively easy to maintain.
