About Our Installation Process: From Bare Ground to Green Lawn
Getting a lawn right starts way before the grass goes down. I always insist on proper soil leveling and drainage, because if the base isn't flat, water will pool and rot your new turf. I also make sure we mix in organic vermicompost to enrich the soil so the roots take hold fast. Don't skip the prep work, or you will be fixing bald patches in your garden just a few months down the line.
My Step-by-Step Installation
I treat every project like it's my own. Whether it's a backyard in Defence Colony or a large farmhouse, the process remains strict to ensure your lawn stays green for years.
1. Site Inspection & Planning I first check your soil type, sunlight exposure, and drainage. This helps me recommend the right variety—like Mexican grass for shade or Bermuda for sunny, high-traffic spots.
2. Ground Preparation We clear out weeds, rocks, and debris. This is the most crucial phase. I then grade the soil to ensure a smooth, level surface. Without this, you get uneven lumps.
3. Soil Enrichment Native soil is rarely perfect. I mix in organic vermicompost to provide the nutrients needed for immediate root establishment.
4. Turf Laying My team lays the grass rolls like a carpet. We ensure the edges are tightly packed so there are no gaps. This creates that seamless, instant green look.
5. Rolling & Watering Finally, we use a heavy roller to press the grass into the soil, removing air pockets. Immediate, heavy watering is mandatory to help the roots bond with the ground.
