Creative Newborn Twin Photoshoots in Mumbai
Welcoming one baby is exciting, but two is double the magic! Posing twins safely and creating those perfect, matching themes requires extra patience and practice, but I absolutely love doing it. From sleepy womb-style wraps to fun character themes, let’s make memories for both your little ones.
When a mom requested a Bridgerton theme for her twins, I was so excited! Look at these two little debutantes with their tiny hats, sleeping in a vintage-style bassinet surrounded by flowers.
A close-up from our Bridgerton-inspired twin shoot. I focus on posing them cheek-to-cheek, capturing that inseparable bond right from the very start.
Another angle from the floral Bridgerton setup, showing the two babies nestled together peacefully. My studio is filled with props to create these beautiful, story-like scenes.
We added a tiny parasol and different hats to give the parents a variety of shots from their themed twin session. Every detail is planned to make the photos unique.
For all the Frozen fans, how perfect is this Elsa and Anna setup for twin sisters? Complete with Olaf, snowflakes, and color-coordinated wraps, this is a fun way to celebrate their arrival.
A closer look at our little Anna and Elsa. One is sleeping soundly while her sister peeks at the camera. Capturing these little moments of individuality is so important in a twin photoshoot.

Sometimes, the simplest setups are the sweetest. Here are two twin sisters swaddled in soft pink wraps, with floral crowns and a rainbow to celebrate their arrival.

A beautiful moment between a mother and her newborn twins. I make sure to capture these quiet, loving interactions during our family portrait sessions.
About Double the Joy: Twin Photoshoots
The biggest difference between a single newborn shoot and a twin session is time and safety. Because we have two precious babies to settle, these sessions are paced much slower, typically lasting 4 to 5 hours. My studio team includes a dedicated assistant just for twin safety, so I can focus entirely on posing and capturing those sweet, sleepy connections without rushing either baby.
Managing two newborns at once isn’t easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding. I’ve refined a specific approach for twins that prioritizes their comfort above everything else. We start with feeding and settling, and I use 'womb-style' wrapping techniques where the babies are snug together—this usually helps them feel secure and calm, just like they were before they were born.
Safety is my non-negotiable rule. Whether we are doing a complex themed setup like a Frozen-inspired winter scene or a Bridgerton-style tea party, I never work alone on twin shoots. I have a specialized assistant on hand at all times to spot the babies during poses, adjust wraps, and keep an eye on their comfort while I manage the camera and angles.
Regarding your vision: I love bringing themes to life! From matching floral crowns and rainbow props to custom character duos, we can style your twins to look as unique or as coordinated as you like. Since we usually spend 4 to 5 hours in the studio, there is plenty of time for individual portraits, family shots with the parents, and those intimate close-ups of them holding hands.
Pro-tip: Plan for these shoots early. I highly recommend booking your slot as soon as possible after your pregnancy confirmation, as twins often arrive a bit earlier than expected. This helps us ensure you get the best window for those deeply curled-up, sleepy poses.

I’m Shivani, and I’ve developed a special soft spot for twin sessions. It takes a little more patience and a whole lot of extra hands, but seeing two little ones curled up together is pure magic. I’m here to make sure your twins are safe, comfy, and beautifully captured, no matter how energetic they get!
