About this collection
Getting the crowd going is not just about playing tracks. It is about watching the room. Whether I am at Pangeo or a private wedding, I am usually looking at the dance floor, not the console, to see when to push the energy or switch the vibe. My set is never pre-planned because the best nights are the ones we build together in real time.
When you see me behind the console, you are seeing a mix of years spent at spots like Loft 38 and Badmaash. It is not just about playing music. It is about reading the room. If the energy dips, I am already looking for the next transition, whether that is a high-tempo Bollywood remix or a smooth hip-hop beat to bring everyone back.
The Technical Side
I travel with my performance USBs and headphones, but for the sound to hit right, I need industry-standard gear. I usually work on a 2x Pioneer CDJ + 1x DJM Mixer setup. If you are hiring me for a wedding or a corporate gig, give me at least 30 minutes before the set to check the levels. It makes a massive difference to the audio quality.
Getting the Vibe Right
Whether it is a sangeet after-party or a club gig, my goal is the same: keep the dance floor packed. I do not believe in set playlists that you cannot change. I feed off the crowd. If you want me to MC, announce shoutouts, or just keep the music flowing without a break, just let me know beforehand. I am there to make it easy for you. 🚀
