This is Re_Vibes, my non-commercial alter ego, playing a melodic techno and house set in the beautiful outdoors of Sakleshpur. This project allows me to explore a different sound and create a more atmospheric, journey-like experience.
About Re_Vibes: Melodic & Techno Journeys
Unlike my commercial gigs where the mic is often on, a Re_Vibes set is a long-form, 3-hour journey. I use a 4-channel mixer to layer melodic techno and afro-tech tracks, building a consistent, atmospheric flow that is perfect for sundowners or late-night intimate sessions where the music needs to breathe.
When I am behind the console as Re_Vibes, the goal is simple: let the music tell the story. I strip back the MCing and the high-tempo commercial transitions to focus on the textures of Progressive House and Melodic Techno. This is not your average wedding mix. It is a specific sound for crowds who want to lose themselves in the rhythm.
I have brought these sets to venues in Sakleshpur and various club spaces across Bengaluru, always ensuring the sound profile matches the setting. Because this style relies on intricate layering and harmonic mixing, I strictly require a 4-channel mixer like the Pioneer DJM 900 to get those long-blend transitions right.
