About Music Video Makeup
I do not just apply makeup and leave. I stay on set with my kit, watching the monitor to spot shine or stray hair before the director calls action. You will often hear me say, 'Arey side, idhar aa, touchup karna hai!'—that is how we keep continuity perfect without wasting any precious shoot time.
On a music video set, makeup faces a different set of challenges than a standard photoshoot. Studio lights are hot, and if you are filming a dance sequence, humidity is the enemy. I specialize in specialized layering techniques using professional-grade sealers from brands like Kryolan and MAC to keep your skin matte and fresh through 10-hour shifts.
My approach for music videos focuses on three pillars:

Whether we are shooting in the heat of Goa or the cold of Baku, the base needs to handle 4K resolution. I handle color correction for uneven tones and focus on a finish that prevents strobe bounce-back without looking cakey.
