About Authentic Okinawan Lineage
When you join us, you are learning the exact same curriculum taught in Okinawa. We do not modify the syllabus for convenience, because maintaining the integrity of our lineage is the only way to teach true martial arts. Every year, our team travels to Japan to train under Hanshi Minoru Nakazato and returns to ensure every punch, block, and Kata (form) practiced in our Bangalore Honbu Dojo matches the international standard.
Authenticity is the foundation of the OSK Federation. Since our beginning in 1992, we have remained strictly tied to the source of Shorin-ryu Shorinkan Karate-do. This is not a fitness gym that happens to teach martial arts, but a traditional training hall where discipline and technical accuracy come first.
Our Lineage
Our connection to Japan is the reason our students grow. By training directly with the Nakazato family, we ensure that our Kihon (basics) and Kumite (sparring) are never diluted. Whether you are a beginner looking to build confidence or an advanced practitioner aiming for a Black Belt, you are receiving instruction that has been vetted by global masters.
Training Philosophy
We believe in the 'Karate for Life' approach. It requires consistency. When you attend our sessions, expect rigorous conditioning, repetition, and correction. We emphasize the traditional forms, which help with muscle memory, focus, and physical power. Our instructors are all certified Black Belts authorized by the federation, meaning you get personal attention during every session.
