My Creative Process: Art, Tools, and Inspiration

For me, calligraphy is a positive addiction. It clears the mind. My inspiration often comes from nature, like the way leaves curl or the way colors blend in a sunset, which is exactly what I teach in my brush calligraphy classes.

My focus is always on pressure control, teaching you the difference between thick downstrokes and thin upstrokes. Whether I am doing Copperplate with a pointed nib or modern lettering with a brush pen, the foundation remains the same.

My workspace is my classroom. You see the same pens and notebooks in these photos that my students use in their homes across India. I do not believe in hoarding secret techniques. I break them down, step-by-step. If you look closely at my work, you will see zone logic applied to cursive scripts. It is systematic.
