For this show, we choreographed a powerful aerial silks routine to the sacred chants of Kaalbhairav Ashtkam. It was an incredible experience to merge the spiritual depth of the music with the physical expression of aerial arts.
Who says you can't do Garba in the air? We choreographed this fun aerial hammock routine incorporating traditional Garba dance moves, bringing a festive and uniquely Indian flavor to our classes.
About Cultural Fusion Choreography
When we choreograph fusion acts, the biggest challenge is safety—costumes must be secure enough for silks but still flow for traditional dance. We design your performance attire to handle the drops, spins, and wraps of aerial work without losing the vibrant, cultural aesthetic of your event.
Aerial art is my way of speaking without words, and fusion choreography allows me to bridge the gap between modern circus arts and our deep-rooted traditions. Whether it is performing to the powerful chants of the Kaalbhairav Ashtkam or incorporating Garba steps into a hammock routine, I look for ways to make the performance feel like it belongs to the audience.
The Process

- Rhythm and Flow: We carefully select apparatus that complements the tempo of the music. A high-energy Garba routine works best with the freedom of a hammock, while intense chants pair beautifully with the dynamic drops of aerial silks.
- Technical Rigging: All our fusion acts undergo a rigorous safety check. We perform an on-site visit to your venue to ensure the structural anchor points can handle the dynamic loads of our choreography.
