Our Garden Landscaping and Construction Process in Bangalore
A beautiful garden is built on strong foundations. Take a look at how our team handles everything from initial measurements and site clearing to proper soil preparation and civil work.
We are incredibly proud to have been chosen for the landscaping project at Bannerghatta National Park, a pride of Bangalore. This video marks the beginning of our journey, starting with taking measurements and planning for this large-scale, six-month project.
For larger projects, we bring in heavy machinery to get the job done efficiently. Here you can see a JCB excavator being used for earthwork and clearing, preparing the site for a new landscaping installation.
This video captures the initial stages of a garden project. It shows the groundwork, including preparing the soil for planting and our team laying bricks for a new pathway, setting the foundation for the transformation.
This video tells the story of a special project at a farm stay that doubles as a sanctuary for stray dogs. Our task was to help rejuvenate the beautiful property by clearing overgrown weeds, allowing the natural beauty of the farm to shine through.
Here, one of our experienced gardeners explains the process of installing buffalo grass. He talks about tilling the soil, leveling the ground, and the timeline for the grass to grow into a lush, green lawn.
Two of our team members are preparing a garden bed, mixing compost and fertilizers into the soil. This careful preparation ensures that new plants and lawns have the nutrients they need to thrive.
The first step in any new garden project is clearing the site. Here, our team is hard at work removing weeds and old grass from a plot of land, preparing it for a complete landscaping transformation.
This video shows the very beginning of a hardscaping project. The site is a bare patch of land, and our team has started laying out the kerb stones that will form the boundary for the new garden and paved areas.
Even small repairs are handled with care. This video shows a team member meticulously repairing a small section of pavement and a glimpse of hanging planters we installed on a balcony.
About Our Process & Team at Work
A garden isn’t just about the greenery; it is about the foundation we build underneath. Whether we are bringing in heavy machinery for site clearing or measuring out space for a new walkway, we focus on the hardscape and soil preparation first. When we work on your space, we ensure the drainage is set and the base is solid, so your garden stays healthy and does not face waterlogging issues later.
Our Process: From Bare Ground to Green Space
When we take on a project, we don't just jump into planting. We follow a clear, professional process to make sure the work lasts.
-
Assessment and Measurement: We start by visiting your site to understand the soil type, sun exposure, and your specific requirements. Whether it is a small balcony or a large farm stay like our work at Bannerghatta, the first step is always precise measurement.
-
Site Clearing and Earthwork: If you have an overgrown plot, we handle the tough stuff. We use tools and machinery to clear weeds and, if needed, bring in a JCB for excavation and leveling. This ensures we have a clean slate to work on.
-
Hardscaping and Civil Work: Before a single plant goes in, we build the bones. This includes laying kerb stones, constructing brick planter boxes with internal waterproofing, or installing durable pavers for driveways. We believe a professional finish is the difference between a messy patch and a clean, usable area.
-
Soil Health: This is where many people go wrong. We till the soil, remove rocks, and mix in the right amount of compost and fertilizer to create a nutrient-rich bed. Your plants need food to thrive, and we ensure the ground is ready for them.
-
Installation and Follow-up: Finally, we lay the grass (like Buffalo or Mexican) and install the plants. We don't vanish once the work is done. We walk you through the basic maintenance so you feel confident taking care of your new space.
At the end of the day, our goal is to hear you say 'Bahala khushi aytu' (Very happy to see your work). That is the only sign-off we look for.
