Behind the Scenes: Professional Photoshoot Process in Bangalore

My work is about more than just the camera settings. It is about building a connection on set. When I work with models or clients for editorial and portfolio shoots, the 'behind the scenes' is where the actual collaboration happens.

Studio Setups

In a professional studio, I often use a 2-3 light setup with softboxes to create specific moods. I might use a rim light to separate a subject from the background or a key light to add depth to the face. You will see this in the gallery—how a simple change in light position transforms a portrait.

Natural Light Shoots

When we shoot outdoors, like in Cubbon Park or on Church Street, the challenge is different. We work with ambient light, reflections, and crowded spaces. I look for shadows that frame the subject and natural backgrounds that do not distract from the story.

Working Together

A photoshoot is a team effort. This includes MUAs, stylists, and the person in front of the lens. My role is to bridge the gap between your vision and the camera's capability. If you are preparing for a session, know that we will spend the first 20 minutes getting the lighting right and finding your best angles.
