Behind the Lens: My Photography Process in Bengaluru

Photography is often perceived as just pressing a button, but this gallery shows the work required before that happens. When I shoot, particularly for pre-wedding sessions, I spend a lot of time adjusting light, testing compositions, and coaching couples on movement.

My Technical Approach

I shoot primarily on Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras, paired with prime lenses to get that soft, shallow depth of field you see in my portraits. You will often see me with an off-camera flash or specialized lighting setups in these photos. This is how I achieve the vibrant, moody look for night shoots—without it, the dramatic bokeh and fairy light effects simply would not happen.

Directing for Real Moments

My goal is to capture the raw energy of a relationship. If you are worried about awkward posing, look at how I interact with the couples in these behind-the-scenes clips. I give direction to keep things natural. We move, we laugh, and we try things out. This process ensures that when you see the final, edited photos, you look like yourselves rather than stiff mannequins.

I regularly scout locations around Bangalore, from lush gardens to urban spots that catch the best golden hour light. When we plan your shoot, we consider the time of day, the lighting, and your comfort.
