About Elegant Back-of-Hand Designs

The finish of your back-of-hand mehandi depends entirely on the flow of the design across your knuckles and wrist. For dense jaali or net patterns, I use a fine 0.38mm tip to ensure crisp, clean lines that do not blur. This level of detail ensures that even complex geometric fills maintain their structure, making them look sharp and elegant against your skin.

Whether you are dressing up for a festival like Eid or Diwali, or getting ready for a wedding, the back of your hand is the most visible part of your henna. I specialise in adapting the density of the pattern to fit your specific event.

Design Styles

  • Minimalist & Arabic: Perfect for parties and everyday wear, these designs feature flowing vine patterns and open negative space. These are ideal if you want a lighter look and typically take 5 to 10 minutes per side.
  • Traditional & Fusion: For weddings or big celebrations, I create dense, full-coverage designs. Think intricate grids, floral shading, and capped fingertips. These are more involved, usually taking 20 to 30 minutes per side to get that high-contrast, dark stain that everyone wants.

Aftercare for Best Results

To get the deepest color, keep the design dry for the first few hours after application. I apply a lemon-sugar sealant immediately after, but the stain will darken significantly more if you avoid water for the first 12 hours.

I am based in Ulwe and travel throughout the Mumbai Metropolitan Area to perform henna services at your home or venue. If you have a specific reference or a Pinterest board in mind, let me know when you book, and we can customise the motifs to match your outfit.
