Behind the Scenes: How We Craft Your Perfect Sangeet
Ever wonder what goes into that smooth sangeet flow? It is not just the dance steps you see on stage—it is the 3 AM rehearsals, the venue checks, and the team coordination happening long before the lights go up.
This is the real dedication. The bride's mom and her friends practicing at 3 AM to perfect their Sangeet performance. It's this passion that makes the final show so special.
From a pajama party practice session at 3 AM to a stunning stage performance at 9 PM. This split-screen shows the incredible transformation and the dedication of the bride's family.
A day in my life as a wedding anchor and choreographer. This vlog shows the whole process, from my morning workout to team meetings, venue checks, and finally, showtime.
Another behind-the-scenes vlog showing how I manage a full day of events. It covers everything from the venue tour and performance rehearsals for the Haldi to the final show flow checks for the Sangeet.
Sometimes the most memorable dance moments happen off the stage. Here's the family breaking into a spontaneous dance in the hotel lobby, just pure, unscripted fun.

About this collection
The magic of a great wedding isn't just the final show—it is the reality of those 3 AM practice sessions in pyjamas. Before the music starts and the stage lights hit, I am already deep into venue recce, DJ sync, and show flow coordination to ensure that your event isn't just a series of performances, but a seamless story that you and your guests can actually enjoy.
More Than Just Steps
When you see a flawless sangeet performance, you are seeing the tip of the iceberg. My work starts long before the wedding festivities begin. Whether it is a solo groom performance or a massive family group dance, the goal is to make sure the process doesn't stress you out.
My Process
- The Planning Phase: We start with a 30-minute consultation to map out your journey. It is about understanding who is shy, who is a pro, and how to mix everyone in. We build a show flow that avoids those awkward dead air moments.
- The Rehearsals: I don't just teach steps. We work on timing, energy, and comfort. If that means late-night Zoom sessions or home visits to get the steps right, that is part of the job.
- Venue Management: Before the show, I do a full walkthrough. I check the stage size, coordinate with the DJ on music edits, and make sure the lighting cues are ready. When you arrive, your only job is to show up and perform.
- The Anchor's Role: Being on the mic is about reading the room. I manage the flow, handle the transitions between performances, and keep the energy high. If there is a technical glitch, that is on me to manage, not you.
Why It Matters
I have seen too many families spend their own wedding stressed about the schedule. My job is to take that load off your shoulders. I want you to look back at your sangeet memories and remember the fun, the laughter, and the dance, not the logistics.
Shadi On Beat
I am Rohit, and for me, the magic of a wedding starts way before the big day. I don't just choreograph dances; I get involved in the 3 AM practice sessions, the venue walkthroughs, and the tiny details that turn a stressful sangeet into a memory you will actually enjoy.
