Step into my Kamothe studio where students turn into confident artists. Here is a look at my class atmosphere, student practice, and the detailed art we perfect together.

The happy reaction of a student seeing her finished hand mehendi. This design features beautiful peacock motifs on the fingers.

A very important part of learning bridal mehendi is practicing figures like elephants and palkis on paper first.

A hand demo for my students, showing a design with intricate floral work and traditional motifs. As Maharaj said, "Swapne khari hotat" (Dreams do come true).

My students noticing the fine details in my work. They are looking at the shading and net patterns in a horse figure I sketched.

Two different styles of bridal figures sketched on paper, one showing a dancing couple and the other a solo bride.

A video showing the process of creating the Shivaji Maharaj portrait, from the reference sketch to the final henna design.

My mehendi classes are located in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, near Mansarovar station. Here, students are busy with a cone making session.

A simple yet elegant modern mehendi design. This style is very popular and is something we cover in the course.

A quick tip: it is important to wax before mehendi for a smooth application. Here I am showing this to students before a demo.

Learn to create portraits in mehendi with me. This video shows the transformation from a paper sketch of Dr. Ambedkar to a finished henna portrait.

About Additional Work & Class Moments

It is not just about drawing lines, it is about 'mehanati' (hard work) and muscle memory. In my Kamothe studio, we start from the absolute basics—coneology, pressure control, and patience. Whether you are struggling with a figure's anatomy or the intricate netting of a bridal design, you will see me sitting right there on the floor with you, guiding your hand until your finishing is perfect.

My classroom in Kamothe is not a typical lecture hall. It is a space where we treat mehendi as a craft that demands precision. We follow a 60-day path that takes you from a complete beginner to a confident artist ready for bridal bookings.

The 60-Day Transformation

  • Foundation Modules (Days 1-25): We start with 'Coneology'. You will learn to make your own paste consistency and roll needle-point cones. We focus on basic strokes, humps, vines, and pressure control.
  • Advanced Modules (Days 26-60): This is where you master complex bridal figures—dolls, peacocks, elephants, and deities. We focus heavily on shading techniques that bring portraits like Dr. Ambedkar or Shivaji Maharaj to life on the skin.

My Teaching Approach

I believe in tough love because I want you to own your journey. You will see surprise tests and practical exams because I want you to feel the pressure before you face a real client. When I see my students, who travel from all over Navi Mumbai, create their first full bridal set, that is when I know my 'rajya' (kingdom) is growing.

We provide everything you need—the kit, the practice boards, and the space. You just need to bring your passion and be ready to work hard.
