My Yoga Journey and Creating Sacred Spaces
From a corporate career to the mat, I share the transformation yoga brings and how I cultivate a high-energy environment for every practice.
My life has changed completely since I embraced the yogic path. I left my career as a CA to follow this calling. This video reflects my inner journey, from seeking validation outside to finding peace within. This is the experience I wish to share.
I recently had the Bhairavi Punya Pooja, a powerful ritual structured by Sadhguru, performed at my home to energize the space. Since then, it feels like living in a consecrated space, full of calm and ease. This is the kind of environment I strive to create in my classes.
About My Journey & The Sacred Space
When I teach, I focus on creating a space that feels alive and supportive, not just a room for exercise. You will see how I combine the simplicity of pure Hatha Yoga with a conscious environment—like the Bhairavi Punya Pooja that transformed my own home. This isn't just about movement; it is about establishing a daily rhythm that helps you stay grounded, even when life feels chaotic.
Many people know me for my prenatal classes or Hatha workshops, but this collection is about the shift that happened before I taught a single student. I spent years as a Chartered Accountant, obsessed with logic and numbers, until I found Isha Yoga. It changed everything. I stopped looking for validation in mirrors and started looking inward.
The Importance of the Space
In my classes, you won't find loud music, fancy props, or ropes. I believe that true transformation happens when you strip away the distractions and focus entirely on alignment and the breath. Just as I have worked to make my home a consecrated, vibrant space, I encourage my students to create a small corner of their own—a dedicated sanctuary for their practice.
Why Practice This Way?
Whether you are joining my Hatha Yoga workshops or looking for prenatal guidance, the goal is the same: independence. I teach you the mechanics so you can practice on your own, every single day. The methods I share—like the Surya Kriya or Nada Yoga—are designed to shift your state of being from within.
If you are feeling skeptical, that is okay. I was too. I didn't come to yoga for spirituality; I came for back pain. But once you start, you realize it is not about the physical form, but about the quality of life you build when you are finally at ease with yourself.
