Messy Artist Program for Toddlers
Discover process art designed for tiny hands (10 months to 2.5 years). Our sessions focus on sensory exploration and fine motor development, leaving the cleanup entirely to us.
This is what our Messy Artist Art Party looks like. We create a safe and exciting environment for toddlers to dive into art with their whole bodies. It’s a celebration of squishing, splashing, and smearing, all in the name of fun and learning.
Look at that focus. When a toddler is this engaged, they are doing more than just playing. They are problem-solving, exploring cause and effect, and developing crucial fine motor skills, all while having the time of their life.
This image captures the essence of our Messy Artist sessions. It’s not about a perfect painting, but about the rich, tactile experience of feeling the paint and seeing the colors mix. This is where a child's confidence in their own abilities begins.
Who needs a regular palette? We encourage using everyday objects, like this muffin tin, to explore paint. This approach sparks curiosity and teaches children that art can be found and made with anything around them.
A closer look at a young artist at work. Using a muffin tin for paints helps with color separation and gives a sense of organization to the beautiful chaos of messy play. It's a simple tool for a big creative exploration.
An overhead view of a collaborative art moment. Our sessions encourage toddlers to create alongside one another, observing and sharing the experience. Here, they are exploring different ways to apply paint to their own paper plates.
Teamwork makes the dream work, even for our youngest artists. This bird's-eye view shows a group of toddlers completely immersed in their own creative worlds, yet sharing a common space and energy.
About this collection
We handle the prep and the cleanup, so you only focus on the bonding time with your child. In these 60-minute sessions, your toddler will rotate through wet, dry, and sticky sensory textures, using everything from non-toxic finger paints to grains to build curiosity without the pressure of producing a 'perfect' craft.
Our Messy Artist program is built on the belief that for toddlers between 10 months and 2.5 years, the journey is far more important than the destination. We remove the 'right way' to create art, allowing your child to squish, splash, and smear in a safe, non-toxic environment.
Why Process Art Matters
At this age, development is sensory. When a child dips their hand into dyed rice or spreads paint across a floor, they aren't just making a mess; they are learning about cause and effect. These sessions help with:
- Fine Motor Skills: Using tools like sponges, muffin tins, and brushes strengthens small hand muscles.
- Sensory Processing: Exposure to varied textures—sticky, slimy, wet, and dry—helps with texture desensitization.
- Focus & Engagement: By following their own curiosity rather than an instruction sheet, toddlers build independent concentration skills.
What to Expect
We run small cohorts to ensure every child has space to explore. Whether you join us at our studios in Indiranagar, HRBR Layout, St. Mark’s Road, or Koramangala, the setup is identical: prepared, protected, and ready for big messes. We provide all the supplies, including non-toxic paints and sensory bases. Your only job is to bring a change of clothes for your little one and let them lead the way. It is a space where being loud and messy is not just allowed—it is encouraged.
Scribble Space
At Scribble Space, we believe creativity is a way of operating, not a talent. We create spaces for toddlers to get loud and authentically themselves, leaving the idea of a 'perfect' masterpiece at the door.
