Fun Sensory Art Activities for Toddlers
Welcome to our cozy space where messy hands and big imaginations meet. Our toddler sessions are designed to turn simple materials into mini-masterpieces while building confidence.
All things simple and sweet for our toddlers. This video shows a fun color matching activity that helps with recognition and fine motor skills. Hearing them say "thank you" just melts my heart!
The magic of reveal art! We draw with a white wax crayon, and then the toddlers paint over it with watercolors to magically reveal the hidden picture.
This little bubba is so excited to see his name appear as he paints over the wax-resist drawing. It's a perfect activity for two-year-olds.
Creating beautiful name art with our youngest students, Noah and Rudhuvi. This is a wonderful way to help them recognize letters while having creative fun.
A safe and happy place for your tiny tots! This video gives a glimpse into our summer classes for kids aged 2-10, with a special focus on sensory and motor-skill activities for the little ones.
About this collection
We do not worry about perfection here, just exploration. During our sensory sessions, we use food-grade materials and chunky tools that are easy for tiny hands to grasp, so your toddler can focus on the joy of squeezing, dabbing, and revealing hidden colors without you having to clean up the mess afterward.
Our toddler sessions, typically for children aged 2-4, are about much more than just painting. We view art as a sensory playground. When a toddler uses a chunky brush to dab paint onto paper, they are developing the hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills necessary for their early developmental milestones. We often use non-toxic, food-grade materials, so you never have to worry if something accidentally ends up near their mouth.
We balance structured activities—like learning to recognize colors or matching patterns—with open-ended creative play. Whether we are using white wax crayons to reveal hidden pictures with watercolors or working on texture projects with foam and sponges, every session is about engagement. Our studio in Richmond Town provides a safe, floor-seating environment where your child can sit comfortably, focus on their creation, and interact with other children in small groups.
You might notice your little one exploring more at home after these sessions. That is the goal. We provide the cleanup and the supplies, so you get to focus entirely on those precious moments of discovery. If you are looking for an after-school or weekend activity that helps your toddler express themselves freely, come join us for a session. We promise a lot of laughter and perhaps a little bit of paint on our clothes.
Little Creatives Club
We are Little Creatives Club, a group of art-loving humans who believe kids deserve a safe space to get messy and be themselves. We started this to help tiny artists find their voice, and we love watching them discover new textures and colors in our studio.
