We believe art is not about the final masterpiece, but the messy, joyous journey that gets you there. This is our approach to creativity.

This quote by L.R. Knost is at the heart of what we do. We strive to create a space where every child feels seen, heard, and valued for their unique perspective.

"The creative process is a process of surrender, not control." This Julia Cameron quote perfectly captures our approach. We encourage children to let go and see where their imagination takes them.

We must lose our fear of being wrong to live a creative life. Art is the perfect playground to experiment, fail, learn, and try again, all while having fun.

We teach children to color inside the lines, then expect them to think outside the box. At Scribble Space, we encourage coloring everywhere to foster true creative thinking from a young age.

"Art is the most intense mode of individualism." We believe every scribble and doodle is a powerful expression of a child's inner world, and we are here to celebrate it.

The aim of art is to represent inward significance. We focus on the process and the meaning behind the creation, not just what it looks like on the outside.

Process art isn't about teaching children how to do art. It's about creating a space for them to discover it for themselves. We provide the tools and the freedom; they provide the magic.

Art helps children become more like themselves, not like everyone else. Our classes are designed to nurture individuality and help each child find their own creative voice.

About Our Creative Philosophy

When you join a Scribble Space session, you won't find step-by-step instructions or pre-made templates for the kids to copy. Instead, we provide the theme, the materials, and the space, then we step back. It gets messy, paint lands on floors, and children often explore materials in ways we never anticipated, which is exactly the point of our process-led approach.
