From our very first nature journaling session in 2019 to the colorful, messy masterpieces we create today, these photos capture the heart of Scribble Space. Take a peek at how we have grown and the countless smiles we have shared along the way.

A throwback video showing our journey from our very first nature journaling session in 2019 to our last workshop before the pandemic. It’s been a wonderful adventure in creativity.

This video is a montage of the art experiences we curate. What children love in childhood stays in their hearts forever, and we are honored to be a part of their creative journey.

A group of children showing off the unique masks they created. This image captures the pride and fun that comes from making something with your own hands.

A young boy stands inside a colorful boat he painted himself. This is a perfect example of how our art projects often become props for imaginative play and adventure.

Two friends enjoying a ride in a cardboard jeep. This photo captures the joy and collaboration that are central to our community art jams.

A collage of happy children holding up their artwork. These smiles are the reason we do what we do, celebrating every child's unique creation.

About this collection

When we started in 2019 with our first nature journaling session, we simply wanted to give kids a space to be messy without the pressure of perfection. Looking back through these photos, it is clear that while our themes like Elmer the Elephant or 3D cardboard construction have evolved, the pure joy of kids getting paint on their hands remains exactly the same.

Our journey has been a testament to the fact that when you give a child a brush and a safe space, the results go far beyond a painting. We have moved from small, park-based journaling meetups to hosting immersive workshops at partner studios like House of Tamariki in Indiranagar and Dabble PlayArt in HRBR Layout.

Why Process Art Matters

Through every workshop, whether it is a messy sensory session or a large-scale cardboard construction project, our goal is to help children build confidence. We noticed early on that the children who struggle with the idea of a 'perfect' drawing are the ones who benefit most from our open-ended approach. By focusing on the experience rather than the outcome, we allow them to explore textures, color mixing, and spatial awareness without fear.

Evolving with Our Community

Over the years, we have adapted our offerings based on what the kids actually want to do. We expanded into mobile birthday parties, holiday camps, and community art picnics because we saw families craving a space where they could participate together. Whether we are helping a child paint inside a cardboard boat or creating complex pop-up books, the focus stays on the story, the laughter, and the wild ideas that only surface when kids are allowed to just explore. Our growth in Bangalore has been a direct result of the trust parents have placed in us to keep their little ones engaged, happy, and creatively free.
