Let’s slow down and move with grace. Join my sessions for fluid, soulful Bollywood choreography where we focus on storytelling and expression over speed.

A glimpse of the 'Moh Moh ke Dhaage' choreography I taught in a weekend workshop. The yellow anarkali and flowing dupatta bring so much life to these semi-classical movements.

Another look at this beautiful choreography in my purple anarkali. I love the twirls and graceful hand movements in this piece; it feels like telling a story through dance.

Feeling royal in this purple peplum-style suit. This is a solo performance from a studio session, showcasing a semi-classical piece with intricate footwork and expressive movements.

A simple, happy dance in a bright yellow kurta set. This piece is full of soft, flowing movements that are perfect for beginners looking to explore a more graceful style of Bollywood dance.

Passing on the yellow light with my dance partner. This duet in a professional studio setting shows how two dancers can sync their movements while performing a graceful, semi-classical piece.

This is what happens when the mood is happy and the color is yellow. A beautiful solo dance piece with a vibrant multi-color dupatta that adds a playful element to the choreography.

Dancing with my partner outdoors. This duet showcases a simple yet elegant semi-classical choreography in matching black and yellow kurtas, perfect for a sangeet performance.

A solo performance on stage to the powerful song 'Bulleya'. This choreography combines strong expressions with the graceful flow of a printed angrakha-style kurta.

My own version of 'Bulleya', danced in my home studio. This piece focuses on the spins and expressive turns that are characteristic of Sufi-inspired Bollywood dance.

A beautiful duet to the song 'Mitwa' in flowing dresses. This choreography is a great example of a semi-classical fusion piece that we often teach in our Surat workshops.

About Graceful & Soulful Choreography

If you love the flow of an anarkali or just want to explore the softer side of Bollywood, this is the space. I keep these sessions relaxed, focusing on fluid hand movements and subtle expressions rather than high-intensity cardio. It’s perfect if you want to dance, let go, and truly connect with the music.

Why This Style?

I find so much healing in the slow, intentional movements of semi-classical and soulful Bollywood. Unlike high-energy cardio, this style lets you tell a story with your hands, eyes, and expressions. Whether it’s a spinning move to 'Bulleya' or the grace required for 'Moh Moh ke Dhaage', we focus on technique that feels right for the body.

What to Expect

In these workshops, we don't rush. We break down the choreography step-by-step so you aren't overwhelmed. Most people show up in comfortable kurtas or flowing dresses, which honestly just helps you get into the character of the dance. It’s not about being a trained classical dancer; it’s about feeling the lyrics.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this for beginners? 100%. I have my own body limitations, so you won’t see me doing intense lower back stretches or crazy jumps here. We focus on movements that feel natural.

Where do we practice? My weekend sessions are hosted at professional studios like Unvind and Sukoon Cafe in Surat. They have wooden flooring and mirrors so you can see your own flow.

Do I need an outfit? Wear whatever makes you feel graceful. A lot of my students love wearing kurtas or anarkalis because the fabric flows beautifully during the turns, but anything you can move in works perfectly.

I’m Vidhi. I started by dancing alone in my room, just looking for a bit of peace. Now, I want to create that same space for you. Come as you are, bring your favorite kurta, and let's just dance it out. 🫶
