Step into my studio in Dombivli, where we turn the six-yard saree from a challenge into a simple, beautiful everyday art. Whether for yourself or for clients, I'll teach you to drape with confidence.

Wishing you all joy and light from my academy. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by the beauty of these silk sarees every day and to share my passion with all of you.

Here is a quick look at some of the many draping styles I have perfected over the years. From classic South Indian drapes to modern looks, I love exploring the versatility of the six yards of elegance.

About this collection

In my workshop, you aren't just watching a demo. You are actually draping, pinning, and pleating on professional mannequins until your hands remember the movement. I focus heavily on the technique behind the drape, so you can master everything from a quick 5-minute everyday style to complex 9-yard Madisar drapes without the stress.

My Hands-On Approach

Learning to drape is a tactile experience. That is why my studio in Dombivli is set up with professional mannequins, full-length mirrors, and steam irons—tools you need to practice until you are ready to drape for yourself or clients. We start with the basics, like fabric handling for silks versus cottons, and move into the 'pinning hacks' I have developed over two decades to ensure your saree stays secure throughout a long wedding day or an office event.

What You Will Learn

  • The Signature Draping Method: I teach a technique for sharp, equidistant front pleats that do not sag.
  • 9-Yard Madisar Styles: For those looking to master traditional South Indian looks for weddings.
  • Quick Draping: Learn the 5-minute express drape using pre-pleating and box folding techniques—a game changer for busy mornings.
  • Body Analysis: How to adjust pleat size and pallu length to flatter different heights and body types.

Certification and Support

At the end of your training, you receive a certificate from my academy. But more importantly, you leave with the muscle memory and the troubleshooting skills to fix any drape. I keep my batch sizes small, so I can give you one-on-one corrections on your hand movements. This is not just a theory class; it is where you build the confidence to wear or style sarees for any occasion, from a family puja to a grand reception.
