Master the art of the perfect drape. From traditional Nauvari to modern silhouettes, I teach the practical techniques that make you feel confident and self-reliant.

This is where the magic happens. I guide you step by step through complex drapes like this traditional Maharashtrian dhoti style, ensuring you understand the technique to create a flawless look on your own.

The final result is pure grace. This is a custom Vidhi look, where the drape is just as important as the makeup and hair to complete the bride's vision. Notice how the pallu is arranged to beautifully showcase the blouse and jewelry.

A perfectly draped saree stays perfect all day. In my workshop, I teach advanced techniques like using a straightener to set pleats, ensuring crisp lines and a secure drape, even with heavy silk sarees.

Welcome to my classroom. Here, I provide live demonstrations and personalized guidance to a group of aspiring artists and enthusiasts. My focus is on practical, hands-on learning so you leave with real, applicable skills.

The principles of draping are universal. While I specialize in Maharashtrian styles, the techniques you learn, like pleat perfection and body proportioning, can be applied to create beautiful looks from any region, like this elegant South Indian bridal style.

A glowing bride on her Haldi day. The beauty of a well-draped saree is how it frames the face and complements the entire look, making every moment picture perfect.

The secret to a long-lasting drape starts before you even wear the saree. This is a glimpse into my pre-pleating process, a crucial technique I teach that saves time and ensures your pleats fall perfectly every single time.

You won't just watch me demonstrate; you will handle the fabric yourself. I teach practical skills like pre-pleating for speed and body-proportion measurement, so you don't spend hours fighting with your saree on the morning of a major event.

Learn to Drape Like a Pro

My workshop is the first certified saree draping course in Navi Mumbai, designed for anyone who wants to stop relying on others for help. Whether you are a makeup artist looking to add a new skill to your portfolio or someone who just wants to drape perfectly for your own family functions, this is for you.

What You Will Actually Learn

We focus on the techniques that save time and keep you looking crisp for hours:

  • Pre-Pleating: How to set your pleats beforehand so you can wear your saree in minutes.
  • Fabric Management: Professional tricks for handling heavy Kanjeevarams, bridal stone-work, and balancing silk versus synthetic fabrics.
  • Body Proportions: Measuring and pleating based on your waist-to-hip ratio, not just standard generic sizing.
  • Advanced Techniques: Box folding for travel and hanger draping for storage.

Workshop Logistics

This is an intensive, full-day session (approx. 5 to 6 hours) held at my studio in Kharghar. I keep batch sizes small to ensure I can provide hands-on guidance to every student. You will leave with a physical Certificate of Completion and the ability to drape any saree with confidence.

What to bring: Please bring your own practice saree (cotton or silk-blend is best), petticoat or shapewear, and heels. I provide the safety pins, clips, and light refreshments to keep you going.
