Traditional Housewarming & Pooja Decorations in Bangalore
Bring an auspicious and festive feel to your new home or prayer ceremony with my traditional floral backdrops and authentic setups.
A traditional decoration for a housewarming ceremony. The focal point is a backdrop of fresh banana leaves, adorned with marigold garlands and a sacred 'Naamam' symbol made from white and red flowers.
This housewarming decoration features a personalized welcome sign and a beautiful backdrop for photos. The wall of banana leaves is decorated with a floral 'Naamam' and marigold hangings, blending personalization with tradition.
This is a simple yet elegant backdrop I created for a Varamahalakshmi pooja at home. The setup includes a white curtain base, decorated with garlands of marigolds and bright red blossoms to create a sacred space for the deity.
About Housewarming & Pooja Decorations
I personally source fresh banana leaves, marigolds, and tuberose on the day of your event, so everything looks bright and stays fragrant throughout your ceremony. You do not need to worry about the setup or cleanup, as I handle the entire installation and teardown of the rental frames and brass lamps myself.
When you invite guests for a Gruhapravesham or a Varamahalakshmi pooja, the ambiance sets the tone for the entire occasion. I focus on creating a traditional, auspicious atmosphere using authentic materials that look good in person and in your photos.
My standard setup typically involves an 8x8 foot metal frame covered in fresh, vibrant banana leaves. These serve as the perfect backdrop for traditional ceremonies, providing a natural and clean look that isn't overwhelmed by plastic or artificial elements. I add strings of fresh marigolds and tuberose along the top and sides, ensuring they are sourced fresh on the morning of your event to prevent wilting.
For your main entrance, I create traditional torans using fresh mango leaves and marigolds, which is essential for welcoming guests according to custom. I also include brass standing lamps and decorated cradles for naming ceremonies if you need them as part of your package.
Since I handle all the rental frames, brass props, and structures, you do not have to buy anything that you might not use again. I manage the entire process from transport to setup and final teardown, so you can focus entirely on your pooja or housewarming rituals without any distractions.
