From intricate shawls to everyday essentials, this collection captures the heart of my craft. Each stitch here is a story of patience, intended to bring a little extra color and calm into your home.

Here I am modeling my Groovy Daisy crossbody bag. It's a fun, retro-inspired design that's perfect for everyday wear, and I love how the bright floral granny squares pop. This handmade bag is lightweight and can be worn as a sling or a fanny pack.

This is the beautiful and intricate Virus Shawl, a very popular pattern in the crochet community. I truly enjoyed watching the gorgeous colors of the papatya batik yarn unfold in these lacy, fan-like stitches. It creates a wonderfully light and airy wrap.

I designed this Chevron Tulip Bag to be the perfect carry-all for my crochet projects. The sturdy chevron stitch gives it a lovely shape and texture, and it’s spacious enough to hold plenty of yarn and tools for crafting on the go.

The Lydia blanket is a piece I'm very proud of, featuring delicate floral squares set against a soft pink background. I finished it with a detailed rosebud border, making it a truly special handmade blanket for adding warmth and charm to any home.

Watch as I unroll this chocolate brown table runner, made with soft cotton yarn. The video shows the beautiful drape and the intricate file crochet pattern, which creates a delicate, lace-like effect perfect for any dining or side table.

Here is a collection of my Sheldon beanies, all featuring a wonderfully textured Alpine stitch panel. I make these unisex hats in a variety of colors, and they are a warm and stylish handmade accessory for anyone.

I love using my crochet creations to decorate my home, like this vibrant Viola mandala placed under a Ganesha statue. The bright, concentric circles of color make it a stunning centerpiece or decorative doily for any surface.

About this collection

You will notice a focus on high-contrast color palettes and textured stitches throughout these pieces. I deliberately select mercerized cotton for its structure in bags and coasters, while I prefer soft, machine-washable acrylic blends for winter wear like beanies. This ensures that every item is not just pretty to look at but holds up to real, daily use.

This featured collection brings together the items I am most proud of, showcasing the versatility that crochet offers. Whether you are looking for a statement piece like a colorful Virus Shawl, which uses gradient cake yarns to create beautiful, flowing lacy patterns, or something practical like my chevron-stitch bags, everything is handmade with slow, intentional stitches.

My approach to crochet is about balance. You will see this in pieces like the Lydia blanket, where delicate floral squares are framed by a rosebud border to create a modern heirloom, or in my home decor, such as the Viola mandala, which brings a burst of energy to a tabletop. I believe that handmade items should fit seamlessly into your life, which is why my pouches are designed specifically to organize small essentials like makeup or headphones, and my hats are made with textured Alpine stitches to provide warmth without the bulk.

Everything you see here is created in my studio in Kanjurmarg, Mumbai. Beyond these physical goods, I am also deeply passionate about teaching. I offer personal crochet classes in English, Hindi, and Marathi, both online and offline. If you find a pattern here that sparks your interest or want to learn how to make a 'Virus Shawl' or a simple beanie from scratch, I am always happy to guide you through the process. I ship these pieces across India, so whether you are local or across the country, I can get a handmade gift to your doorstep.

I am Crochetkari, an ex-banker who traded spreadsheets for yarn. I believe crochet is the ultimate way to slow down, and I pour that same sense of calm into every shawl, bag, and blanket I create in my Kanjurmarg studio.
